Welcome to ASYC
Aberdeen and Stonehaven Yacht Club, located in the North East of Scotland is an active, friendly dinghy sailing club with a competitive racing program, family sailing and a strong junior program.
We have the unique advantage of sailing in two very different locations during the year. From March to June we sail at the Loch of Skene, near Westhill. The Loch provides an ideal location for both learning to sail and competitive racing. From June to November the club moves to Stonehaven bay with tides and waves presenting a very different challenge from the inland loch.
We sail a wide range of boats with all classes welcome. Lasers, Solos, RS400, RS200 and Blazes are sailed with the club owning Lasers, Toppers, Laser 2000, Blaze and Feva dinghies for hire so you don't need to own a boat to come sailing with us.
